THE ROLE
If you’re a Developer with an enthusiasm for good design, we would love to hear from you. You'll be working with PHP, Go, MySQL, NATs, Kubernetes and many other cutting edge tools to build and enhance a market-leading SaaS product, including:

  • Building back-end components using strong design patterns
  • Improving maintainability of existing code base through innovative design
  • Improving test coverage of existing code base and ensuring all new code is unit tested
  • Participating in design workshops to ensure the best designs are used in development
  • Working alongside our front-end developers to produce efficient and user-friendly system

The below experience is required for the role:

  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • PHP, SQL, Cache, Queues and Event Driven Architecture
  • Experience of AWS and Containers
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as gitlab runners, bitbucket pipelines, Tekton, drone CI.
  • Experience working with design patterns
  • Knowledge of unit testing
  • Ability to demonstrate code that goes well beyond the use of frameworks such as Laravel, Codeigniter or WordPress.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of packages with composer.

  • Salary from £46,000 up to £54,000, dependent on experience
  • Discretionary annual company bonus
  • Nest Pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays: After 2 years the allowance increases by a day per year up to 30 days plus Bank Holidays.
