We’re seeking a Back End Team Leader to lead the delivery and evolution of our back-office systems, driving continuous improvements and ensuring that our platforms are high-performing, secure, and future-ready.

Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
Taking prototypes from design stage through to build stage, collaborating with our key stakeholders to deliver the best experience for our clients
Create new reusable components
Work alongside our Front-End team to deliver new features, or improve existing ones
Collaborate with the QA team to ensure quality deliverables
Working with our Client Services team to provide technical analysis, support and fixes
Support the Back-End Team Lead to guide and support the Back-End team
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands-on coding skills in modern frameworks and languages (e.g., PHP, Go, Symphony, Laravel)
Solid understanding of databases
Experience with Service Orientated Architecture
Using CI/CD tooling to deploy code
Testing frameworks and methodologies (TDD, BDD)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with reporting systems, ETL workloads, and system configuration tools.
Understanding of software design patterns
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
